Richard Davidson is the founder and chair of the Center for Healthy Minds at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He is best known for his groundbreaking work studying emotion and the brain. He is also the co-author of Altered Traits: Science Reveals How Meditation Changes Your Mind, Brain, and Body.  Richie Davidson has done a short meditation online that you might find useful. The purpose of this meditation is to give beginners a way to ease anxiety and reduce stress, especially during the pandemic, for coping with isolation or physical distancing.
